Karen has served on serval boards including The Greater Fort Lauderdale Chamber of Commerce where she has actively served on the board of directors for many years in various capacities.
Including Executive Committee, Government Affairs Committee, and Nominating Committee. Elected by the chambers leadership team to revitalize a dormant Women’s Council, as immediate past chair, she stoked the flames of success and the Women’s Council is one of the most thriving, active, and engaged, Council for the Chamber to date.
As 2016 chair of the Gay and Lesbian Business Exchange (GLBX) Council, she took the GLBX to new heights during her tenure.
Karen has been awarded multiple community leadership awards including the Chair’s Award in 2017 from The Greater Fort Lauderdale Chamber by Heiko Dobrikow Las Olas Company VP.
Karen Currently served as Co-vice chair on NSU M.P.A in Nonprofit Advisory Board and chair of Broward Sheriff Office Social Justice Taskforce Homeless Committe
